99 Cherokee Won't Start
99 Cherokee Classic, Auto, 4x4
I took my Jeep through the carwash yesterday and it ran home fine. I went to drive over to my buddies house to watch a football game and it was running horrible. It wasn't shifting until around 3,500 RPMs and was stuttering and stalling when I would stop.
This morning I read the codes and got a P0123 and the Jeep wouldn't start. I tested the voltage at the TPS and was getting over 5 volts on the middle wire, so I replaced the TPS, cleaned the ground on the dipstick bolt and then clean out the black and grey connectors with some quick dry electrical cleaner. Now the Jeep won't start.
I read the codes after all this and got P0753, P0743 and P0122.
I don't really know what to do next?
UPDATE:
I unplugged the battery for a while and when I plugged it back in I am getting no codes. Now it just turns over and won't start.

From all the searching I have done, I checked the CPS and the resistance was showing as Infinite when I checked it. I am assuming this means the CPS is good.

That means it isn't shorted but doesn't mean it's working. Resistance isn't a conclusive test. Probably got water into a connector somewhere, I'd take each apart and dry it out. Might start with the CPS connector.

I tried cleaning all sensor connectors under the hood. No go. I went to the dealership and picked up a new CPS. After fighting to get the old one out, it started right up with the new one in.
The PO or someone cross threaded one of the CPS bolts. I thought I was gonna strip the head getting it out. Oh what fun that would have been.
