Arrrg! I now know why this stuff is left for the pro's. I cant seem to get the tranny pan out. I've removed all the tranny pan bolts but how is it removed with the filler neck? Looks like theres some sort of slip-fit about 8 inches up the filler tube, but i cant seem to get it apart! Is this a "slip-fit" type connection or am i overlooking something? Please help!

I did the pan too a few weeks ago. So....apparently if you can't get it apart then you can cut it. That's what I did. But make sure to cut the pipe above the tranny lines. and get some rubber hose and two fittings.
Well...did manage to remove with filler tube attached. Took some effort to separate the filler tube pieces but made much easier to reinstall. Thanks!
