99 Cherokee ABS light on- yellow... Reset?

Default 99 Cherokee ABS light on- yellow... Reset?

How do I reset a ABS light..my OBD2 scanner won't do it..I checked the sensors and it's still on.Is there a special procedure or scanner ..my repair manual doesn't specify.Came on after the kid washed the Jeep

If water gets into the abs sensor wire connector, it can put the light in. You can't reset it. How did you check the sensors? Just a visual inspection?

I pulled them off..sprayed them with electrical cleaner and re installed them

last time that happened to me it turned out to be the clockspring (behind the steering wheel, on the steering column. Try the horn and, af you have any other controls on the steering wheel (cruise control etc) see if they work. If they don't it may be the clockspring.

And did you clean and dry the sensor connector too?
