Default 99 charokee

When it goes in over drive it kicks out then goes into again then kicks back out. It doesn't do it all the time can't figure it out hope u can help. I was told a shift solenoid but don't know

Next time it acts up pull back on the brake pedal using the toe of your shoe. Occasionally the brake lamp switch will cause it to drop out of OD if there's too much slop between the brake pedal arm and the switch, or the switch is right on the edge of failing.

Not always the problem but a start in the troubleshooting process.

needs to come out...old motor was from a manual trans, going into an auto. I've never done this swap before. Kinda bit my ***. LOL No big deal, and I'll be really good at pulling/replacing motors after this. LMAO
