99 4.0 HO work in a 92?

99 4.0 HO work in a 92?
I'm a newb to Jeep's and was wondering if a 4.0 HO from a 99 Cherokee would work in a 1992? I'm looking for a motor to rebuild and they are kinda hard to find around here. I've found on Wiki that my 92 4.0 HO was made from 91-98 but, the 99 has the same HP and torque so what is the difference? Thanks!
