i found a parting out 98 grand cherokee with 3.73. gears , i have a 98 cherokee sport with 3.55 gears. are the axles interchangeable ?

front is mostly, rear no.

Grand Cherokee has coil springs in the rear. Cherokee has leaf springs.

Unless you're a fabricator, it won't bolt in.

Other than the obvious slight gain in gear ratio - what's the end goal or reasoning?
