98 cherokee

I just bought a 98 cherokee sport but how do you tell if its an xj. I've been ordering parts and most say for a xj cherokee when you go to order.

a cherokee is an xj unless its a grand cherokee which looks totally different or if its a wagoneer which i dont think they made that year more than likely what you have is an XJ
