98 Cherokee 28-35 vibration
So i bought a 98 cherokee auto 4x4 few weeks back. had a 4inch lift on it and had some vibration from the get go. when i bought it the rear shocks werent bolted on, u bolts needed to be right tightened. so i fixed that along with a bunch of other stuff that needed to be done. So still have the vibration. I saw the rear ujoint on the yoke could slide back and fourth ( every part store around here sells ujoints a tad to small. and it could slide 1/4 of a inch) so i had to spend 80$ for a oem perfect match at the jeep dealer.
Figured that woulda fixxed it. guess not. So now im looking at doing a 1inch tc drop until i can do the SYE. Anything else i should check? The angle the driveshaft sits is a bit effy and i couldnt take a picture today because the snow was screwing up the light on the camera. question is am i on the right path? anything i should check before going any further? thanks sorry for the cluster **** story.
it vibrates 28-35mph 47+ and a tad once you start off from a complete stop

See what kind of shape your transmission mount is in. That could possibly be causing your issue right there.
Also, check to see if your exhaust pipe is making any contact with the crossmember.

Do you have any pinion angle correction shims between the axle and springs? Had the same problem with my 95xj 2wd, threw in a set of $10 shims and volia! vibes were gone. Although you really should install a S.Y.E. maybe shims could remedy it for a while.
