Wow, starter cranks when you turn the lights on, that's almost comical, although I'm sure not to you.

Clearly you have a short or a bad ground somewhere's. I have spent the past 2 days running through electrical diagrams here: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowled...?utm_source=cj due to my own electrical gremlins. That page has all the diagrams for the entire system and some troubleshooting tips as well.

My first guess would be grounding issues causing components to follow a different path to ground when a switch is engaged like your key switch or brake switch etc.

This is where I am gonna to start on my rig tomorrow: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/eng...130071/index2/ Post #20

Have you checked the relay box and fuse box? Sounds like things are getting crossed up somewhere maybe?

also X2 on checking all the grounds as a starting point if the relays/fuses are all OK.

Ok since it has been warm out I've had no problems, but when something gets wet it acts up again today the horn won't shut off and blower motor runs with key off...

"Fuse Box". Are you talking about the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine bay or the Junction Block (JB) in the passenger footwell?
