As I pulled out of the gas station Saturday, my Jeep died. It's a 1997 Cherokee Country with a 4.0. After I towed it home I started looking for the problem. I have no spark. Fuel pump not working. Gauges don't work now. The electric fan and compressor clutch now engage when I turn the key to the run position. The engine cranks but obviously wont start. All of the fuses and relays check out good. Anyone have an idea what my problem is?

 

Start by checking all your grounds. There was a recently bumped post where engine bogging down issues occurred due to a corroded ground behind the trim panel in the trunk.
