Quote: When you say you took yours off, do you mean the whole headliner or just the fabric that had fell off? Do you have any pics?
I took the whole headliner out. Then pulled the fabric off and scraped the foamy crap off then sprayed it with the Rustoleum spray on bed liner form autozone.

It's hard to tell in the pics, but it looks tight. Is that new fabric?

another thing to consider that I've seen a couple people do is to buy a BIG can of fiberglass resin like you'd find in a fiberglass auto-body repair kit. This is used on the fiberglass headliner backer-board after it's cleaned essentially turning that flimsy backer-board into a flexible, yet rigid surface to reattach your headliner to.

I ripped out my sagging headliner and left it with the bare metal roof, my Cherokee is white so not much issue with the heat, and Houston is an oven for 6 mos. out of the year.

Just finished my 99 a few weels ago with headliner material from a fabric shop. The aftermarket sunroof was a challenge.

I redid mine with military fabric, junk yard overhead console and R4 insulation.

Did you do something to make it light up red like that. Just red bulbs or something in the stock lights ?

I painted the stock light covers with Testors transparent hot rod red hobby paint. They have tons of colors
