96 XJ barely moves in drive.
So driving up to my house today I came across an issue. I slowed down to avoid a pot hole and my XJ stalled. I though that was weird but put it back in park and started her up again like nothing happened. The weird part is when I put it in drive and tried to move. My foot was on the gas and I was not moving. I put a little more pressure on the gas peddle and was moving very slowly to my house. then when I had slowed down to park it stalled again and did the same thing!!!
The jeep has a brand new distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. A brand new CPS and 1/4 a tank of gas. I could use a new battery but it still holds a charge somewhat.
Any ideas????

Check fuel pressure if you can. If you dont have a gauge, you can at least verify your getting fuel by pressing in the pin on the valve on the fuel rail with key on. Does it rev up and not move, or just bog out?
