Was wondering if I could swap doors from a 1996 Cherokee to my 1998 Cherokee Limited bc my powers windows aren't working properly and I'd like to deal with it easily. Won't respond quickly to thread, school has the replying blocked but not base posting, plus I work tonight. Will check thread and reply tonight when I have my laptop.

 

I'm pretty sure it's been done. I believe the hinges will need modification, though (hopefully someone with actual experience will clarify this). Also, your glove box won't open all the way with the passenger door shut.

 

just need to get the older style striker plates.

 

Be easier to just repair the windows.

The easier and more correct thing to do would to to repair what you have.
