Default '96 died, won't start, no codes.

So I was romping around pretty hard on my stock xj. Hit a bump and she died. I'm getting no spark. I noticed the before cat O2 sensor was cut in half from me bouncing it around...I rewired, didn't replace, it. Nothing, as I figured, because the 02 sensor won't cause it not to spark...As far as I know. Now I had replaced the ignition coil, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs about 6 months ago. But I still checked cap and rotor and they are fine. I just replaced the cpm because I was getting a 6-7ohm reading from the old one. Still nothing...I could use some help.

Any possibility that wiring or connector came loose on the crank position sensor on the bell housing ?

How about something knocked loose in the Power Distribution Center, aft of the battery ? That relay, the auto-shut down relay, is in that box too I believe. That relay powers the ignition coil...
You might also check for voltage on the harness connector (positive) on the coil...it should have approx 12 volts while cranking. If it's there but goes away after cranking a bit, the connector or wiring to the camshaft position sensor, which is down in the distributor, should be inspected for a problem..
It's likely something simple, but finding it may not be...(??)

I feel like a newb. It was a simple fuse. Now, the first thing I checked when it broke down was the fuses...I'm gonna go get my eyes checked. Wow! Anyways when the O2 sensor got cut in half it tripped a 30amp fuse. Thanks for the input and keep the belly down.

Good news that it was simple...and don't feel like the Lone Ranger for not catching it sooner, we all have been there..........
