My 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ just randomly wouldn’t start (crank but no start). So I checked the ignition coil and there is no spark. Next I tested the ignition coil plug by connect a lightbulb to one terminal of the plug that comes from the ASD relay and the light lights up normally, but when I move to the other terminal which is a signal terminal from the PCM, the light doesn’t light up and blink as it should be. So I thought there should be a broken wire from PCM to the coil but after testing the buzzer with my multimeter to the A7 PCM terminal which controls the ignition coil signal, the buzzer buzz which means the wire are good. How could I diagnose and fix further?
