I would like to explore the usefulness of the 4.0 in-line 6 as my future driver. I bought a 95 XJ 2-wd for what I hope to be a good price. The body looks to have little to no rust but has had a left front fender and drive door replaced. The Jeep has been sitting for 4 years but is to have a rebuilt engine and trans. Some time it it past there was an anti-theft device added. I want to remove it (not working). In the process I have found 2 connectors added. There is a wire running to the IGN spot on the fuse block that runs to a device on the side of the steering column and then connected into an another connector. At this point I do not have spark and no proof the fuel pump is working. Trying to get back to original first. Theses are not Jeep parts?
