Default 95 melted wiring

I have a 95 and every thing was until I lost my high blower setting. The other speeds worked heat and air also. So I picked up a new heater control panel. When I pulled the old panel out the plug was melted. So I had to rewire it and it's been working great for a week. Is this a common issue in the DJ Jeeps? It's working good now.

Yes. This is fairly common. I just went through the same issue.
