95 jeep cherokee xj only starts with key turned half way
Hey guys new to the forum and new to the jeep world so bare with me on some things but I have a 95 jeep cherokee xj with the 4.0 inline 6. I have asked around and no one can give me a straight up answer so hopefully you might have something for me the jeep will only start if the key is turned half way if I turn it all the way like you would normally start a vehicle it won't do anything. Any info is appreciated and would be helpful

Engine: 5.2 V8
Sounds like ignition switch. My buddy has a 95 XJ and had the same problem. Picked up an ignition swith at Autozone and swapped it out. Fixed it. Not hard to replace.
