95 Cherokee Slave Cylinder
Hey I know this is an old thread but I thought that I would give my experience with this issue on my 95 cherokee sport. I was unable to shift into any gear while the engine was running and diagnosed that the clutch needed to be bled or the master or slave cylinders needed to be replaced. I was able to bleed the clutch on my jeep by taking off the slave cylinder and then holding it upside down while pumping it as my brother watch the master cylinder for any bubbles. Once there were no bubbles we through the slave back on and our problems were behind us. The clutch now feels great and shows no sign of going out. So even if your hydraulic system has no bleeder valve you can use this method as a means of clearing air out of your system.
