Got a 95 cherokee, the gauge cluster has no illumination along with any other instrumentation in the car. There is no power going to the cigarette lighter either. Checked all the fuses and they were all good. Also, the front running lights don't work when u put the parking lights on, but the rear ones do go on. Could it be a bad dimmer switch? And would that be related to the outlet?

took the dash apart to try to do some diagnosis. Power outlet was an easy fix, whoever had the truck before reversed the power and ground. Switched those and all was good.

Dash is still no bueno, tried new bulbs and all but still no illumination. Could it be related to no front running lights on when the headlight switch is pulled out to the first part for running lights. blinkers work and all four front ambers blink with the hazards, rear running lights work.

did you check the wiring? make sure there's no loose frayed or fried wires?
maybe a bad switch? ive never had the dash apart so im not entirely sure how its put together and how it "works"
