so I bought a 94 xj with a salvage title from MD about a year or so ago, about a month in I had to replace the head and valve cover gaskets as it was pushing fluid out of my reservoir, I put everything back together and the voltage is reading over 15 at idle, and the temp gauge isn't reading the hot fluid. Hasn't overheated on me, but the voltage has been creeping higher and higher as time goes on, it blew out one of my led headlights and is not over 16 volts. The TCM stopped working about 2 months after the change. First started every now and then and now it doesn't automatically shift in sequence at all. It won't come out of first until I manually unplug the TCM (trans control module) then I can manually shift threw the gears to drive the truck. I replaced the LEDs back to the old stock ones, there's no check engine lights popping up but I know my dash lights are working, is there a way I can manually reset the TCM tif it's in like a limp mode or is there any other ideas anyone else has? It's been like this for about 6 months but I really don't want to get rid of my jeep. I would like to fix it and keep it. If anyone has any info or even suggestions please let me know. I have been threw most of my grounds and most of my wires , it's been affecting the back break lights and windshield wipers, I got the back break lights to come back after messing with some wires but it's still all messed up. I'm desperate to have my truck running right again it's not even funny. Thanks in advance to anyone able to provide some wisdom and hope everyone has a great day

 

Edit , I have replaced the thermost, the coolant temp sensor on the back corner of the engine.
