coolant switch question?
So, I recently swapped over to a dual e-fan setup, and was tuning the temp probe, when I had a weird problem. It seems my gauge is reading a lot hotter then the temp sensor for the ecm. I took a temp probe home from work today, and let my jeep idle up to temp (I also had a snapon scanner hooked up at the same time) and it looks like when the scanner and temp probe were reading 196 degees F, the gauge on the cluster was reading about 260 degees F! Big differnce. So, I have a 94 XJ, but I did swap the gauge cluster out for a 96 XJ. Is there a different temp switch that I should be useing? I got one at the parts store for a 94 with the gauge, not the lights. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
J

If I were you I would get the 96 sensor. It went to OBDII that year and stuff was changed.
