Where did you get the cps? I have gotten 2 bad ones off the shelf from Oreally before I'm on my third going on a year now. It still sounds to me like a faulty cps

 

First one was from a junk yard. Just put one in last night from autozone and it worked for the test drive. Drove fine all day today, until about 10 min ago it just died. I can only keep it running if I keep it in park and give it gas.

 

Take it back and get one from mopar or Dodge

 

How can I be certain that's the problem?

 

Hey guys still having trouble! Replaced the cps again. It seams to get hot and shut down or if I driving and hit a bump it will just shut down then can't start it until it's cold. Please help!

 

failing TPS also acts same was as CPS.I knwo this from my KJ. it intermittently cuts and you think somebody turned the ignition off.
