Default 94' I6 coolant sensor bad, temp at 110°

My control display says sometimes that my coolant sensor is bad. Also the engine temperature stays at 110°. Where do I find the coolant sensor to replace it and where can I buy it?

Sorry I'm new in the states and new to Jeeps, so I have no clue. I would prefer to buy it local, are there some stores? I'm from San Jose, CA.

you can get a new sensor at the parts store, its located in the back of the cylinder head, not on the thermostat housing

no, that is the one going to the PCM, the one you want for you gauges is all the way in the back of the cylinder head

Is the other coolant sensor of the same type? It is hard to figure it out, because its hidden behind some cables.

The one in the back, the temperature sending unit, is a lot smaller in comparison to that one in the thermostat housing you have in that picture. But it has the same look to it (same color). Here is what it looks like new and unattached

Could you give me the part number? At O'Reilley they have the same sensor for both places.

OK, thanks. I replaced it, and it works fine. Is there something under the hole of the temperature sensor, or is the hole only for the sensor?

All that's in that hole is a path for coolant to flow through. Hence how it reads the temperature of it
