Default 94 Cherokee won't start

Hey, just bought a Cherokee with 157,XXX miles on two days ago and tried to start it this morning and it won't turn over.

Battery's fine, and it was tested with multitester and there is a earth leakage from the positive terminal on battery through the solenoid/starter connection.

cheers

Won't turn over? Try the NSS. Turn the key, shift through all the gears, try to start it in P and N, see if the reverse lights are on in R. NSS is a pain in the a@@ but it's the most probable cause.

Thanks, but suspect that the battery is shorting out when terminals are connected and therefore no way to test NSS.

It's a different circuit from the NSS and did disconnect the engine bay fusebox to test loads. Second day I had this jeep. lol
