Default 93 wont start

Engine turns and turns.. but doesn't start?
ideas and how to fix it?

hundred different things could cause it. you'll have to start diagnosing and cross things off as you go. make sure you are getting spark and fuel.

I have the same issue with my 1989. Getting fuel but no spark. Any suggestions?

BTW, this happened to me earlier today also. I later I thought hmm maybe outta gas, dumped some fuel in it, fired right up so I topped it off ran around town a little bit then it did it again. Now its stuck in town. Gonna toe it to the inlaws in the morning and start troublshooting.

Well went in today to tow the Jeep to work on it and it fired right up! Problem is when will it do it again?!

If the engine is turning, but no spark. It could be your distributor. Have you been 4x4'n or washed your engine recently before? It could have water in it. I have had similar things happen to my 92 after cleaning the engine.

Well I looked at the crank sensor (I think thats what it's called) that's located on the bellhousing. Followed the wires and found a wire that the insulation was worn through. Hopefully that was it. Havn't had a problem all day. Hopefully thats all it was.
