Default '93 Cherokee Tranny Shutter

First of all, thank you for letting me apart of this forum. Been needing help with my Jeep & really can't find good advice.

But here is my problem. When I'm driving down the highway, my transmission will shutter/shake. But when I let off the throttle and give it gas, it will clear up. But I noticed it getting worse. I've been told these things could be wrong by a local mechanic.

1. Torque Converter
2. Transmission or motor mount
3. Transmission needs rebuilt or replace.

Here is my Jeep Specs. '93 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0 High output, Automatic, 4x4. Transfer case will shift in 2wd (Not AWD). Has 218,000 miles. Just bought it yesterday, with no real background info. If ya'll could help me out, I'll be very appreciative. Thank you

Start with the mounts. They are easy to check and cheap to replace. Check to see if they are loose or worn out.

Are you certain it's the trans and not the engine sputtering?

Well I'm not 100% about the motor causing the troubles. I've put rotor cap, wires, and plugs. Had it timed & checked for looseness. Replaced those famous vacuum lines . I know for sure there isn't a blown head gasket. Is there anything else on the motor, that could cause the problem?

Also, checked the mounts. Went ahead and replaced them. Got my money's worth out of the old ones lol. But still have the shutter/ shake. When it's going in to overdrive. It will jerk & shutter. But let of gas and then give it gas, it's gone. Could it be a sensor or cable perhaps?
