93 Jeep Cherokee. 4.0 5 speed manual. 105k miles It runs like a top until it heats up. Then when you put it in first gear it dies as soon as you let the clutch out. Tried it rolling at about 15 mph in second, same outcome. It died as soon as I let the clutch out. The jeep starts after dying. Maintains a normal temp. And idles perfect. All day long. Also, when warm it will run perfect in reverse. Could drive it all day in reverse with no issue. However in forward gears it stalls with the clutch disengaged. Once it starts having the stall issue I have to let it sit for at least an hour to cool off, before it will run in forward gears. But once cool, it runs through every gear perfect until it warms up again. New parts include, but not limited to: Fuel pump, Fuel filter, Air filter, Vaccum lines, Ground cables, Battery terminals, Battery, Alternator, Spark plugs, Wires, Ignition Coil Pack, Temp Sensors, O2 sensors, TPS. I'm sure I'm forgetting about something. I also cleaned up my ground connections on the chassis and block. I redid the vaccum system with huge attention to every detail. I removed all the plastic under the hood. Cleaned everything. Etc. Etc. I'm lost on what I could be overlooking that it continues to have a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A little back story;recently the jeep would only run for about 15 minutes until it would die and not start for hours or days even. However it no longer has that issue as it will run all day at 210° w no issues. Pers like a kitten. Until it gets warm, then has the stalling problem in forward gears, only.

The temp dependent stalling sounds like crank sensor to me.

Low probability but easy things to check - Check that the bellhousing bolts are tight. Shake and wiggle the wiring harnesses under the hood while it's idling and see if you can make it stall.

I changed the crank sensor. Went thru the wiring harness and shook it every where I could get a hand on it. Going to check the bellhousing bolts now as I've still had no luck fixing the stall issue.
