Just use a crimp connector for it if wires burnt. No timing adjustment. Its set it and forget it.

I think I've got an idea for fixing it lol. And I want the most out of the motor since I down graded to a renix.. But I've got a buddy who was an instructor for an automotive college and has mapped and built several engines, so timing should be a walk in the park

Did you get it to start? Doesn't the computer set the timing, thought the distributor was not movable/adjustable? I'm waiting on a new distributor myself.
