91 no start weak spark coil OK power distribution ok
I had bad stator and replaced it like many others it cranks and won't start ...I have fuel and can soak the plugs.... I have a pro load tester and charger so power is no issue.
I started using multimeter's when all they had was needle type and own three quality dmms
I went through the grounds and added two per recommendation ...I get power and ground where its supposed to be and it all switches like it should
My conundrum is the manual is the same vintage almost as the jeep so I suspect some mistakes might have occurred based on what I measured......
There isn't any meterable resistamce component in the hall effect devices used in the cps and the stator. You can check continuity ............. And power and signal while its hooked up but no DC resistance value unless it's an open or shortly from a hard failure.
I have a couple questions if I may....
My ias motor doesn't want to come out of its place after I removed the two torx screws......
Is that typical?.....it has a gasket....
Is there a list of values for disconnected sensors? For each engine control system?
How about a list of normal operating voltages for same?
Anyway I would appreciate input about the Chrysler mpi system.
