92 XJ Radio and Cigarette Lighter fighting for power
Just as the title says, and I've researched it on here with bland results.
Here's what I'm thinking... I moved the "memory power" wire for my radio to a different location in the fuse panel with mildly good results. The radio will intermittently cut off when I plug in a GPS or my cell phone. Has anyone successfully pulled power for the cigarette lighter plug from a different location? Is the ground the common point for the plug and the radio? Will I lose my mind trying to fight the good fight?
For alternative power to either the radio or the plug, could I use the ABS circuit since it's a non ABS Jeep?
