so i have a 92 jeep cherokee laredo and its having some misfire issues. i have replaced the spark plugs and wires, replaced the ignition coil. as well as the distributor cap and rotor. and its still misfiring and i cant seem to find out whats wrong? any help would be much appreciated.

If you have a check engine light, you have codes. Post the exact codes here for comment.

More details is helpful. Does it misfire when COLD, when HOT, both?

Also, with a 92....the fuel filter can be easily replaced. Consider doing that AND testing fuel pressure. Must be done with a gauge. For a 92, you should have 31 psi at idle. Then disconnect the vacuum line leading to the fuel pressure regulator and the pressure should jump to approximately 39 psi.

 

There is no engine codes, I have no lights coming on

 

Did you ever find out what was causing the misfire?
