92 Cylinder head compatability

92 Cherokee. Cant find exact 92 head so Im assuming that theres gotta be other years that are compatible with the least amount of modification. Any links or input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

PS whats the going rate to have them tested and plane'd (SP).

I dunno about the cost to have one resurfaced, but a 4.0L HO from '91(?) through at least 98 should bolt right on. IIRC late '99s -2001 had the prone to cracking cylinder.

Go to www.car-parts.com and look at their interchange. The same head was used for multiple years. I'm sure 91 to 95 is a direct bolt-on.

91-95 is a direct bolt on....In 96 they moved the iac....I believe its the iac...I have a 90, 94 and 96, and 94YJ.....and the 96 is not the same nor is the 90.
