HI
I have a 1992 Cherokee sport 4.0L manual trans . .
Had orig ,replaced plugs ,wires ,cap,rotor ,the cap towers were rusty.. Thought that would fix it .
It will not start , cranks ok , I can start it with ether . Then it runs and you can drive it all you want . without shutting off .And may start again when shut off. Most of the time NOT .
I switched The ASD relay w/ other relays , no help .
I have spark, but not fuel injector pulse . When hit w/ether ,,it starts and of course I have injector pulse then.
Has new crank sensor . And tried another dist . also , tried a used coil. This thing is driving me nuts , any help would be appreciated ..

check your fuel pressure.

 

The fuel pressure is fine .. There is no injector pulse , when using a noid light .But has spark
