Add a leaf
Well another idea , another disappointment. I'm trying to put 31x10.5's on my XJ. I bought it with a 2" lift...spacers in the front and blocks in the back. I read quite a few threads on this forum that stated this lift will allow the 31's as long as you don't wheel it hard. So I put on the fronts and all looks OK, put on the backs and it just isn't going to work.....my leafs are sagging. I just want to get the back up a bit to fit these tires until spring comes again and I can work on it in decent weather. Does someone sell JUST the add a leafs? My first thought was to put on shackels but then I read that the top bolt may just spin...and I don't want to go through the floor to fix it...so now I'm thinking add a leaf. Opinions please.

Or you can go to the junkyard and pick up some leafs from a s-10 or dodge dakota, or even from another XJ. Use the long leaf with the eye bolts cut off and add it to your pack. Add leafs until you are happy with the lift.
And get those blocks out of there before you do this, or you will just negative-arch another leaf.....
