Ok so I'm looking at a 91 Cherokee for $500 but it has an electrical problem. The guy said that he was driving down a bumpy road and his horn,ac fan, blinkers, and radio all stopped working at the same time and he doesn't know what the problem is.
What do you guys think it is. I was thinking a fuse but I suck at vehicle electrical issues.
Thanks

Yea, sounds reasonable that something got jostled and blew a fuse. My 90 is pretty different from your 91. I have 5 or 6 fusible links right off an actual starter relay by the battery. Pretty sure that's different, but finding and checking those links as well as the fuses might make sense. A $500 91? Here in CA, I'd want to be pretty sure it will pass smog, or I just bought a big pile of of parts.

Yes I can drive it after I fix that if I buy it. Is ther anything else that could cause those problems or is the ignition switch and melted brown wire the number one issue?

Well yeah I could drive it but I don't wanna pay the tickets for no turn signal that will end up costing more than the jeep if I buy it and drive 2 hours home. Lol
Should be able to use hand signals. Or run a temporary jumper from the battery or maybe cig lighter plug to the "turn/BU" fuse and back feed the turn signals.

Most likely the ignition switch ... it tends to fail overtime causing issues. Not an expensive part ... if I remember correctly about 30 bucks new ... a little time consuming and hard on your neck but not a difficult repair as long as you have all the tools and some mechanical ability (patience). There's a few threads on here that deal with replacement.
