so i finally replaced the TPS sensor in my XJ and she was running fine and all of a sudden she started to die out at random times. now she doesnt stay running for more than half a mile. no idea what the problem is but i checked the relays and they are all fine. wire connections from motor to sending are all fine.(no breaks in wires or anything) anyone have any advice as to what else to look at. also she doesnt start back up right away either. have to keep priming the fuel system. so idk.

 

1. Test fuel pressure with a GAUGE

2. Test your "throttle position sensor"

This sounds fuel related and the two above things are directly involved so should be ruled in or out early in the troubleshooting process.
