Went ahead and replaced ac compressor with new one.
Vacuumed, held. Put 4.5 oz of pag 100 oil into compressor per manual.

One can freon, clutch not engaging, fan not kicking on. Put another in and still same.

If I wire ac clutch plug to pos terminal battery, will engage.

Tried replacing ac pressure switch. Same result.
Had tried "jumping" the ps as suggested by some, nothing happened, indicating the ps is good, i believe?

Is there a way to check the actual plug that connects to the ps, or the fact that by jumping it, and no change, means it's good?
Right Now with about two cans, low side gauge Manifold at about 115 psi and high side at 180 psi.

Checked relays, all good. Swapped and switched them around with fuel pump and and fuel pump comes on with fan and ac relays so indicating those are good.

Disconnected t stat sensor to see if fan would come on, nothing.
Only fan that comes on is passenger side; I guess that's the mechanical fan so on all the time?


What else could possibly be; ideas, experiences, suggestions, much appreciated.
