Default 91 Anti Theft system removal

Ok, I've read all the posts I could find about this on here and NAXJA. And to be clear, I am up and running after doing a bypass/ground on the wire running to the door locks. It's been baffling to figure it out though, as originally the bypass did nothing. The fuel pump cutoff was still active after I ran the ground wire.

It didn't start until after I tried starting it from neurtal as opposed to park. Then it started no problem. Smelled flooded from all the attempts to start, but ran like a champ. Ran it around the block with no issues. I then tried to start from park and got nothing on three tries. Tried again from neutral, started right up. Then back to park, nothing. Then back to neutral, started up fine again. On the third or fourth try from park, it caught and started. Since then, it has started 5 straight times from park, which leads me to believe the bypass has now made it to the PCM and the computer thinks everything is fine.

So here's my question: has anyone successfully completely removed the VTSS/ security module from their XJ? This is what I truly want to do. I want it to be like there was never one there, and the powertrain doesn't know any better.

Thanks!
