I have the chance to take anything i want off a 91. does anyone know what if anything will fit on my 98

The majority of the stuff from the 91 will fit but some of the parts may not be as strong. Like the sxle shaft u joints. I dont think the 91s came with abs which means they have smaller axle shaft u joints. Also it depends on what setup the 91 has (tranny, engine, t case, etc.) Personally Id grab as many parts off of it as you can and if you cant use em sell em.

 

Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure the suspension(coils, springs,m shocks) are all compatible

 

driveshafts as well

 

Actually I have both a 91 and a 98.
About the only thing that is different is the header grill headlight bezels complete interior front doors and the rear hatch.
There will be some things like AC compressor too but thats about it.

 

Thought of a few more things while having dinner.
ECU and probably a bunch of sensors. Ehaust. Everything on the dash (controls , displays) and a lot of other stuff I'm sure someone will post but the major componets like differentials transmissions engine blocks intake rad will change over.
