Discussion of the removal of federally mandated emissions equipment is strictly forbidden on CF.

Ok, rest assured all federal parts are intact and in place. But more questions...

So the high idle was the map was plugged into the wrong port on the tb. So idle is fine. Still having hesitation on a constant speed, but no other time. I adjusted the tps, iac/tb/intake were all cleaned during the motor teardown/rebuild. And also, I'm smelling a gas like smell, not horrible, but present, almost like an old push mower, it has exhaust smell, but a hint of unburnt fuel. I'm leaning towards maybe the fuel pressure regulator. At least, that's what my searches pulled as a popular culprit. Ideas?

Have you ever indexed your distributor?

What kind of shape is the TB to MAP hose in?

Yes I have, and it was done during rebuild but I will double check it. Tb to map looked fine. Still soft, solid connection
