Default 9.5 MPG?

What kind of city type MPG are you guys getting with lifts and bigger mud tires? My first tank of gas in the 92 I just got was less that 10MPG.

Anything I should check or replace?

have you done any basic maintenance on the jeep yet like replace the cap rotor plugs and new air filter. try this first then check your o2 sensors and don't forget to clean your throttle body. make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks also.

just new air filter so far. I'm sure the alignment is off, burns the tires a little driving at speed lol.

that is most likely going to be one of your biggest problems if the tires are burning when driving go get the alignment done then see what happens. but the cap and rotor most likely need to be done as well they are cheap and easy to do

I will def do the cap/rotor. wires look aftermarket but will probably replace them and the plugs as well.

I was waiting on some feedback from other people with lifts and bigger tires as far as the alignment suggestions...

I did just bump the tires from 20 psi to 28, maybe that will help too. My commute is only 5 miles usually in bad traffic.

You should go higher still, factory recomendation is 33 psi. I was floating around 27-26 on all 4 tires and i bumped it up to 34 for now.

EVEN ON MUD TIRES? I read numerous online articles seemed like to keep the tire flat 27-28 PSI was best.
