Soo my local pick n pull is out of xjs with tilt steering so does any body actually know what gm columns will fit ie what models and years? People always says gm will fit but no one says what gms will fit. Need the info for this weekend. Tilt 89 aw4 with wipers. Thanks

 

It's a Jeep column made by GM. Need one out of a Jeep of your vintage. What's wrong with yours?

 

87-90 xj (don't matter if it has cruise and yours doesn't)
possibly 84-86 included
possibly yj's included

i've heard that s-10 of same vintage are the same, but don't take my word for it.

 

Mine was broken when bought they never retightened the internal bolts when it started to go loose so it all cracked to be floopy. But only ones at the pick n pull were non tilt which makes the shaft about 3in short so I took the shaft out the standard and broke the case all the way to get the tilt shaft out put it in and fits except for where the tilt shaft has the ball connection is right where the ign is so cant turn key. Got it plugged in hot wired now was going to change to push button but stupid WA laws dont like that for emmissions and all lol two more years in Army then back to FL the land of state leaving your cars alone!
