89 XJ clutch trouble??
the cap for the resovior is broken, and i dont know if it came stock with the rubber sealer or not? ANyway when I cruise in one gear too long, specifically 1st and 5th, i lose my clutch, no pressure at the pedal. Could this be caused by broken cap. As well, do the caps break easy, as i have noticed the local picknpull is fresh out of caps.

do you have any fluid coming from your bell housing? or even on your driverside floor board?

I would say it is probably the master cylinder that needs to be replaced. You will get a new cap with it!
