Default 89 wont shift right

Okay so I have a 89 which means it has the reNIX. So I was wiring in my cb radio and to see if it worked still I was on the passenger side and unplugged a 10amp fuse to which I think it was the TCU. It worked and all that so I ran the pos and neg to the driver side and plugged the positive in with the radio fuse. Then undid a ground and ran my neg off of that. bumped into some things while doing all of this and now it wont shift right. I read up on this problem cause it would not shift out of 1st. went back played around and now when I try to move in D it bogs down like it is in overdrive. I can manually shift it fine. I have replaced the tps before all this.

That fuse under the passenger side dash is for the power to the TCU. Re-trace your steps and make sure the fuse/holder is good.

Okay so I went Through and found that my TCU was unplugged (under passenger side lower dash piece). Went and checked for everything to be plugged in and now it wont start..... Also while doing all the that I had the neg off the battery to see if it would reboot? Dont know if it works like that on the renix or not.

Renix doesn't reboot.

No start how? Cranks over but won't start?

yes it would just crank so I unplugged the TCU and it started. While running I plugged it back in and now it drives like it should. But now I am taking of the throttle body and cleaning it since it likes to die or try to when coming to a stop . When I am on the brakes the rpms slowly decrease until it almost dies. But this only happens sometimes which confuzes me

You need to spend some loving time with your Renix. Click on the link in my signature and do #1, #3, #4, #5, to begin with. No shortcuts. Should take you an hour or so.
