i have a 89 cherokee 5 speed manual and i wanted to buy the rough country 4.5 inch lift but it said that it dowsent fit 87-89 models with Peugeot manual transmissions. do i have that? how can i find out. and what are the axels on it 35 in the back and 30 in the front?

 

my buddy bought a lift from rc and he called them and they ran his vin and what not and told him exactly what he had. try doing that.

 

Chances are you have the puegot if its an 89. Look at the tranny casing, if there is a seem on the bottom going from the bell housing to the back of the tranny where the casing splits in half, its a puegot.

 

You could have an ax15 if yours was made in late 89.(I believe that is when they switched) Cant really tell you without pics or anything. Also take a pic of the rear end and we will be able to tell you what rear end you have.

Ok so does that meen I can't get a 4.5 form rough county? What Lang arm lift can I buy? What would u guys suggest? I don't want to go bigger then a 5".
