4.0 inline 6. I drove to work today at 8 and got off at 12. Only 4 hours.. and I went to crank my jeep and it turned over fine and it just stopped, and started turning over again.. so I stopped and turned it over again and pressed the gas pedal and i noticed it stops when I pressed the gas pedal... what could cause this??? I also have to wait for my fuel pump to stop making this noise before my jeep will even turn over... if anyone knows how to fix that. It cranked right up when I left home to go to work. HELP!! lol

 

I'm clueless. Open the hood and look at it while someone works the pedal. Maybe that rousts the squirrel who then pulls your wire loose, or you see something else.

Also just cuz it's easy, disconnect your battery for a minute, then put it back and try. This might re-boot the computer. ( one said over night).
