Check your fuel pressure.

How old is your tune-up hardware? Did you install it?

Possible. Wit it idling, reach in there and pull the diaphragm back towards ya. If there's a change, the EGR is OK. If not, it's a huge vacuum leak.

Check the hose/plastic pipe real closely that runs from the passenger side of your throttle body to teh MAP sensor on the firewall. No cracks, melted spots?

Mostly rough idle and hesitation. Just check it per my previous post.

How about fuel pressure regulator. Located at the end of the fuel rail toward the front.

If I press down on gas quickly it will bog down and some times die. But if easy on gas in revs up great.

My 90 was doing the same thing when it got hot. I posted on here recently and someone said change the plug wires. I did not expect that to work, but I robbed some wires off another parts xj and they made a huge difference! Don't know what I'd do without this forum! So I would give wires a shot it worked for me

Mine will do it all the time. But I got some extra plug wires I will try out. Thanks for the advice.

Guys, you have to verify that your tune-up hardware is in good shape. It's hard to tell by looking at wires. The factory interval for plugs, wires, cap and rotor was every 30,000 miles. If you don't know when it was last done, do it now. Many times that simple maintenance stuff is the source of your problems.

Then, you're starting with something that is known, a baseline so to speak.

Default missfire off idle under load???

Okay so..... I have changed every sensor, except knock sensor and EGR on manifold.... new ecu, Drained gas, New fuel pump, filter fuel rail ,fuel reg, all injectors, all vacum parts, distributor, rotor, plugs, wires, throttle body, compression check 135-145 all cylinders... still has a miss on accelleration???? I'm at a loss... Please help! Also good fuel pressure 31 psi, I'm thinking maybe prev owner has timing chain off a gear ...?? idk...
