Id like 2 know the science behind all of this. So xjchop if the normal operation temp for the fan to kick is say 212f.

With the sensor screwed all the way down at what temp is it operating at 240f 190????

Because if i recall the thing got hot after replacing it and it never came on at redline still

 

Did you jump it at the harness where the temp sensor plugs in? That sould tell ya whether the sensor is good or bad.

Could be for sure. Sounds like the OP has way more cooling system issues than a faulty cooling fan circuit.

 

i agree start with clutch fan,then move to next issue

 

wonder if all the air was removed it being a closed system renix era wanna solve over heating iss and upgrade to open system best bet plus clutch fan even newer style aux cooling fan make world of difference
