89 cherokee does anyone know the stock alternator wire size??

I was looking to upgrade the alt wire because its stock and really old and I wasn't sure what the actuall gauge is. might be good enough.
I have a car audio system so I figured wouldent hurt to upgrade the wire. idk if the factory stock wire can handle 100a I replaced my stock alt when it went bad with a 100a one

But, if you're planning on increased current requirements, upgrading is not a bad idea. 4AWG will even give you a better, more stable power system (as long as the alternator's still good, that is. Wire doesn't make electrical power, it merely transfers it...
)
